Not a style, but a story.
An individual character shaped by every decision.
80 m² in the heart of Łódź. Lofty u Scheiblera – a place with history, ready for a new chapter. The owners came with a clear vision: they wanted the interior to reflect their personalities and passions, yet without overwhelming the space with objects and textures. The initial inspiration was the Ritz Hotel in Paris – elegant, full of detail – but interpreted for everyday living and years of comfort ahead.
A process that teaches patience. The first concept didn’t quite work. The second captured the essence perfectly. From there, the project matured step by step. Bespoke plasterwork was created, with the owners composing the decorative motifs themselves. The staircase, crafted from rare Ice Jade stone, became the centrepiece of the interior – a material that demanded precision and care. Every detail – from Gessi fittings to Karman lighting and finely crafted joinery – required a decision that could not be rushed.
Colour, texture, history The interior is full of colour and texture, yet never chaotic. Each element – from the limited edition Togo armchair La Toile du Peintre by Pierre Frey to Jules Pansu tapestries and the owners’ art collection – found its place in a harmonious arrangement. Nothing feels accidental, yet everything feels natural.
Functions hidden in plain sight Behind the decorative kitchen lies a fully functional layout; behind the mirror, a discreet laundry; beneath the stairs, a generous storage space. This balance keeps the interior light and refined while meeting the needs of daily life. This home does not follow trends. It tells a story – of passions, travels and decisions that shaped its character. And of a space designed to feel truly personal to those who live here.
